Corker And Blackburn Weigh In On TNGOP “Husseining”

From Sen. Corker’s chief of staff, Todd Womack:

“We found the posting to be inappropriate and as soon as we saw it yesterday, Sen. Corker called the Tennessee Republican Party and asked that they take it down.”

From Congressman Marsha Blackburn:

“Americans are about to enter an unprecedented eight month dialogue about who has the best vision for America’s future and the best plan to get us there. This kind of tactic diminishes the debate to come. When the American people examine the difference between Senator McCain and the Democrat candidate, I am confident it is a debate Republicans will win.”

   Whats funny is Willaim Howard “Bill” Hobbs could’ve made his point, and maybe his point would’ve been picked up by local media, if he had just been a bit more realistic and respectful. Instead, his rant about anti-semitism (which really just showed his own anti-semitism) has reduced any chances he may have had in moving up in the GOP world.

   Corker’s statement on this is so 30 seconds ago and beating a dead bill hobbs horse. When will Republicans stop trying to keep this story alive with their attempts to distance themselves from their own state party’s wholesome unifying message?
